Ashfall’ Ha Jung Woo, “Bae Suzy is a down to earth kind of actress... she will grow into much better actress”

On the afternoon of the 18th, a media premiere of the movie 'Ashfall (Director Lee Hae Jun, Kim Byung Seo)' was held at CGV Yongsan I'Park in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Lee Hae Jun, Kim Byung Seo director, Actor Lee Byung Hun, Ha Jung Woo, Jeon Hae Jin and Bae Suzy have participated.
“Ashfall” is a story of people who are trying to stop the last eruption of Baekdu Mountain that will overthrow both South and North Korea.
Bae Suzy is playing a role of wife Seo Ji Young, who stays alone in Seoul to fight against the disaster when her husband Joe in Chang (Ha Jung Woo) got assigned to a mission. It is a smaller role compare to others and it is a pregnant lady role. Bae Suzy, who said the importance of role is not something she consider when picking a production, said “I really wanted to be part of this production because the scenario is really funny and it’s attractive. It is my first time of participating the disaster movie. The reason for going on the production is that I thought I could learn a lot from working with senior members”.
On this day, Ha Jung woo said his prejudice on idol base actress got destroyed by Bae Suzy’s acting. Ha Jung Woo said “I like Suzy’s acting because it is clean. The power of Suzy is expressing the scene itself without expressing too much nor too less. I believe that she will grow as a good actress”.
On the other hand, movie ‘Ashfall” is going to release the day after, the 19th.
