Davichi released a remake music, ‘Stay with me, my lover’ of the late Kim Hyun Sik through various music sites at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
‘Stay with me, my lover’, sung by Davichi, was selected as the representative title of the late Kim Hyun Sik’s 30th anniversary remake album, 'Making good memories', and drew attention once. 'Stay with me, my lover' is the representative song of the late Kim Hyun Sik's 6th regular album (1991), which is a posthumous album, and is the best hit song that has been loved by the public throughout the ages.
Davichi reinterpreted ‘Stay with me, my lover’ with an appealing tone, deep-powered emotion and exploding singing ability. Especially, unlike the rough husky voice unique to the late Kim Hyun Sik, the mournful charm of female vocals provided a different feeling.
In the 2020’s remake album, ‘Making good memories’ , which will be released facing the 30th anniversary of the late Kim Hyun Sik, a total of 13 talented junior singers, including
Gyuhyeon, Davichi, The One, Lee Seok Hoon, Sunwoo Jeong Ah and Ha Lim, have gladly joined, heralding the best album ever.
Especially, as masterpieces of the late Kim Hyun Sik have been remade into the voices of junior singers, it is also expected to be a good opportunity to shed new light again on the dramatic life of the late Kim Hyun Sik and his music life. (Photo Credit: Superman C&M)
